Indoor Track 2017   – Jamestown High School

• All athletes must have a current sports physical dated after May 1st, 2016

• First Mandatory practice is Monday, November 7th at 2:40pm

• Meet the Coaches night is Monday, November 14th

Track meets:

All track meets have entry limitations based on the type of meet. Indoor track is very competitive and there is no guarantee an athlete will compete in all or any of the meets.  We will make our best effort for all athletes to have the chance to compete in at least 1 or 2 meets.   The invite meets have time or mark standards and may limit entries to 2 or 3 athletes per event.

Indoor Track Practice Dates and Times:

November: 7, 9, 10,11,14,15,16,17,18,21,22,28,29, (13 practices)

December:  1,2, 5,6, 7 (8 BRD meet,9-10-CNU meet) 12,13,14,15,16,19,20 (12 practices)

January: 3,4,5,(6-7 CNU meet) 9,(10 BRD meet), 11 (12  NA JV meet), (13-14 Milestat Showcase meet) 17,18,19,20,23,24,25,26,27,(30 BRD meet)  (14 practices)

February: 1,2,6,7,8,9,10,13,14,15,16,17,18,21,22,23,(24,25-state meet)  Note Conference should be week of Feb( 6-10), Regions (13-18)  (16 practices)

Additional practices may be held over breaks and are TBD.
